How Often Should I Do Fitness Workouts to Lose Body Fat and Impress the Wife With My Muscles?

I get this question a lot! Well, not about my wife, but about how often should I exercise to lose body fat and get in shape?

And that’s a great question… it shows that you are taking responsibility for your own health. And the answer to that question is short and sweet… the average person who just wants to lose body fat and get in shape… you can get AMAZING results by working out just 3 days a week.

And each of these workouts SHOULD NOT last more than one hour!

How is it possible? By making smarter choices about how you exercise… for example… instead of doing that long, boring cardio… make it interval training! It’s much, much more efficient and you only have to work out half the time… So replace short and intense interval training with cardio… plus… good nutrition and you’ll be melting away your body fat like there’s no tomorrow!

And your days off don’t mean you can slack off. You can still be active with walks or just working in the yard.

Now what about people who haven’t exercised in a while and are frankly out of shape? First off, before you get all ambitious and drive yourself like a battering ram…do everyone a PROFESSIONAL by consulting a doctor first to make sure it’s safe for you to dip your toe in the pool. After all, the world is a much better place when you’re in it! 🙂

Then… start slow… take a short walk every day and build on it as your body starts to feel stronger and stronger. The key is to do it and make walking and exercise a regular habit.

And while you’re at it… start incorporating a little weight training… this is where you should ask your personal trainer for advice. And watch your fitness workouts become more intense and challenging.

Before you know it… you’ll be pumping and huffing and puffing and your body will feel so alive. And you will notice the results…you will be slimmer, fitter and healthier…
