Foods high in carbohydrates are not necessarily unhealthy, but they can be high in calories. Things like pasta and potatoes are high-carb foods that can make you bloated. You don’t have to eliminate them from your diet, but limiting them will help you lose weight. Then there is the issue of junk food and snacks. Do you need to banish them forever? Well, no. No need to deprive yourself of any guilty pleasure. Make it sparse and limited. For example, indulge in ice cream once a week and make sure you stick to your limits.
