So are you ready to try again? You and I and millions of other people probably share something in common because we have tried many times to lose weight but have not been able to achieve the results we want in the long run. Fad diets, the latest miracle fat burning pill, exercising so much we can’t even get out of bed in the morning. Does this sound familiar? I recently started a weight loss diet journal and decided to lose weight in a more realistic way. It works and I want to share my experience with you.
Most people try to approach the weight problem from one angle and then push it to the extreme while ignoring other angles. There are people who think the solution is massive exercise (while continuing to eat all their meals out). Then there are other people who just buy exercise equipment or a gym membership but don’t actually use it (shouldn’t just thinking about exercising be enough?). Okay, I think you get the idea.
The thing is, you and I are unique in how our bodies handle food and nutrition. Figuring that out is the key. Or at least that seems to be the key for me and I believe it might be for you too.
So how do you figure it out? Keeping a weight loss journal is a good start. Record every thing you eat and drink, what time of day, and your morning and evening weight. You will see a pattern that will help you start losing weight at a steady pace. You’ll also need a plan of action, and that doesn’t have to be hard, and it has to be a plan that will work uniquely for you! And no, I’m not going to start talking about Acai or Hoodia or whatever.
