10 Ways to Jump Start Your Day
Before you get out of bed:
1. Express gratitude…
Take a moment to send a few mental thanks out into the world…for seeing another day, for family and friends, for having your health, your job, a roof over your head, or whatever your situation is. Realizing that you are already living in a blessed state of being helps to energize your day.
2. Thymus Throbbing:

Imagine the light coming through the shower head along with the water, I like to imagine a bright purple light. As the light touches the body, imagine it burning away or transmuting any energetic waste clinging to your aura, the water then washing away the fine particles as it loosens its grip. You feel very refreshed at the end of the shower!
7. Oiling:
Once you get out of the shower, slather on one of the best skin conditioners out there – natural, organic coconut oil. When applied topically to the skin, coconut oil helps keep the skin well-hydrated, young, healthy and disease-free. Add coconut oil to your diet and watch the health benefits multiply. End your day by applying coconut oil to your skin in the evening
and your youthful appearance will be the envy of many.
8. Ditch the Java:
Instead of starting your morning with a cup of coffee, replace it with a cup of hot water containing unfiltered apple cider vinegar and raw honey, 2 tablespoons each. It is important that it is organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar in order to reap the health benefits. While it may not sound appealing, it really isn’t hard to drink and becomes quite likable. 9. Have breakfast!
Defined: Creating a simple, easy, well-balanced and nutritious meal to start the day. Remember, this is the MOST important meal of the day. I like to remember this with the following quote “Breakfast like a king, lunch like a lord and dinner like a pauper.” Skipping breakfast slows down overall bodily functions, such as metabolism, and then stays low for the rest of the day, making it harder for your body to use up energy from the foods you eat later.
10. Oxygenate your body
It seems so simple and yet so many times we tend to miss it – take a deep breath. How many of you reading this right now are breathing in little shallow breaths? Come on, raise your hand, I know who you are! When you find yourself needing that extra burst of energy, BREATHE! Breathe in deeply for a slow count of 3, hold for a slow count of 3, exhale for a slow count of 3. Do this with focus and intention for a few minutes, then check your energy level again. If you did it right, you really got your day off to a good start. With this deep breath, you increase your vitality and reduce tension at the same time.
