Fundamentals of Fat Loss – How to Eat for a Healthy Weight Loss Plan

Let me give you some weight loss basics that you can start implementing right away into your healthy weight loss plan

Just remember that you can learn what it means to lose weight pretty quickly and easily. But in order to stick to a healthy weight loss plan, the most important thing to remember is that you’ll want to create the right habits that will allow you to effectively lose weight without feeling like you’re on a diet.

Diets are a temporary solution to permanent problems. We’re not looking for a temporary fix here, but rather a permanent weight loss meal plan that’s fun, healthy, and delicious.

You won’t have to give up the pleasure of eating if you learn the right eating habits to lose fat.

That being said, let me give you some of the basics of weight loss eating that I practice daily:

Nutrition: I will list some of the most important nutritional habits to follow when losing weight:

1. Eat small, frequent meals throughout the day (5-6 meals will most likely get the job done)

2. Eat lean protein with every meal (chicken, lean ground beef, eggs, fish, etc.)

3. Eat vegetables with every meal. It doesn’t matter if the vegetable is raw or cooked, as long as it is a vegetable. It also doesn’t matter what vegetables, but try to vary the vegetables you eat so you don’t get bored.

4. Include some healthy fats in your meals (i.e. cook with olive oil and canola oil, have natural peanut butter with apples or carrots for a snack, and avocados are another good source of healthy fats). Also include fish oil in one or two meals each day.

5. Limit processed carbohydrates (bread, pasta, rice and all snacks). If you really want to eat some, make sure you include them in the morning or right after your workout. The body makes better use of carbohydrates at these times, so they are less likely to be stored as fat.

That’s about all for a start. By following these simple basics and turning them into daily habits, healthy weight loss is pretty much a sure thing. Healthy weight loss plans are not and in fact should not be restrictive.

Healthy weight loss plans should actually taste great, be enjoyable, and still follow the basic principles of weight loss eating.
