1. You must be active. This is a no brainer. When I mean active, I don’t mean you have to go to the gym 5 days a week and kill yourself on the treadmill. Start by going for a walk. Playing pick-up basketball. Go for a hike or a bike ride, whatever gets you moving. This is especially important if you are sedentary.
2. Start eating more vegetables. Vegetables provide you with many nutrients that the body needs to function optimally. Without it, things get haywire inside. They also provide you with a lot of fiber, which is important for keeping you full.
3. Cut back on excess carbs. When you are sedentary and eat carbohydrates, they are usually stored as body fat. This is because the body does not need them when you are at rest. Cut out carbs and it will force your body to use fat for fuel and that fat will be the body fat you desperately need to lose.
These are just 3 simple tips you can use right now to start losing weight. It doesn’t have to be rocket science. Just go for it.
