So in answer to the question, “Does fasting help with weight loss?” the answer is “absolutely yes”, but it has many more benefits than I just mentioned.

What is the Intermittent Fasting Diet?

This type of diet is probably the easiest and most enjoyable you can find. You don’t have to change the type of food you eat, so you can still enjoy all your favorite foods. This means you can still eat all the foods you love.

The only thing that changes on this diet is that you sometimes don’t eat anything for a short period of time. You eat what you like and want, then you stop and fast for a short time, then you eat what you want again for a few days. It’s simple, and believe it or not, it gets easier and more fun the longer you do it.

Now when I say eat whatever you want, I’m not talking about eating a dozen donuts and three orders of Kentucky Fried Chicken for dinner. If you eat sensibly on the days you eat, you will lose weight. How?

Your fasting days create such a large caloric deficit that you can enjoy what you love on your eating days and still lose weight. I think it’s more of a stay fit and trim lifestyle than a diet, but whatever you call it, it works for weight loss.

When people ask “does fasting help with weight loss” and “is it really natural” my answer is that intermittent fasting is the most natural way to lose weight and control weight on the planet. For thousands of years, when food was not so readily available, people hunted, then ate, then fasted again while hunting. They were forced into a natural program of intermittent fasting.

Of course they didn’t have the health and weight problems we have today. In fact, it seems we were designed to live off our fat for a period of time from the beginning. While you’re living off of fasting fat, you’re losing weight. It’s so simple.

But it has to be done right.
