1 clove of garlic, cooked with 1-2 tsp.olive oil
1/2 cup brown rice
1 cup frozen peas and carrots
1 cup cooked chicken, cubed
1 1/2 cups chicken stock
Cut the garlic into thin strips and cook in olive oil until reduced and translucent.
Cook rice in chicken broth.
Just before the rice is cooked, add the peas and carrots. Try not to cook for more than 3 minutes. Add garlic and olive oil to rice mixture.
Once the rice is cooked, add the chicken and let cool to a safe temperature. and service.
I have a puppy right now, so this recipe is about 5 days of food for her. But you can adjust accordingly based on your pet’s weight. Earn enough food for the entire week, and you’ll find homemade dog food that’s inexpensive and nutritious that your pet will love.
