How I Lost 60 Pounds in 120 Days

Being overweight can be a real problem for people who have this condition. It can have an adverse effect on people both physically and psychologically. I know. I was there. The only way to lose weight is to really want to. It doesn’t matter how you want to do it. If you really don’t want to do it, you will fail every time.

Now I’m going to tell you how I lost 60 pounds in 4 months.

It wasn’t easy. I decided to start it at the end of winter. This is the time when staying out really isn’t an option. That’s why it would be so easy to sit and eat all the time. In fact, this is what made me overweight.

The first thing I did, which is what anyone who wants to lose weight has to do, is I decided I was going to do it. No ifs, or buts. The mental part is probably 75% of the whole battle. I just decided I wasn’t going to cheat on what I was going to do.

I ate chicken. I ate lots and lots of chicken. Fish was also an option, but I can’t stand the taste of fish. So I stuck with the chicken.

How often did I eat?

I ate 8 times between the time I got up and went to bed. I ate small portions 8 times a day. It was hard at times. I would take sandwich bags with my allotted portion to work. I had to find the 5 to 8 minutes to eat it in measured intervals. IF you really want something bad enough, you will find the time to do it. I seasoned the chicken by cooking some on the grill and some in the oven. Nothing fried.

I also ate vegetables. Green. I would eat green beans, peas, peas, etc. I would put a little balsamic vinegar in them to add some flavor. When I got tired of the vinegar, I ate them plain. Most people don’t realize how ordinary fresh vegetables taste.

I also made it a point to drink lots and lots of water. I stopped drinking all soda and alcohol. To flavor the water, I just squeezed a little lemon juice into it.

I did it for 4 months. The weight dropped. I started at 275 pounds. I’m 6’1″. That’s a lot of extra pounds. If my back could talk. It would tell you how much it hurt lugging around all that belly fat. This weight loss got me to 215 pounds in 4 months. All without exercise.

Why did it work?

By eating at set intervals many times throughout the day, you reprogram your body. As you follow this plan, your body will go from storing fat to storing nothing at all. It then starts using the fat it has stored because it thinks that this fat is no longer needed. You feed your body so often that it realizes it doesn’t need to store any fat for a rainy day. In fact, you feed it so often that the body sees no reason to keep the fat you have and starts burning it.

When spring and summer came, I was a new person. My neighbor thought I had some kind of illness. I had to explain to her how I did it.

This can work for anyone who decides from the start to just do it. I know it works. I did it.
