1. Improve your mind.
The importance or having an improvement and an open mind cannot be overemphasized. The first change has to come from within. how can you do this Self discipline…we sometimes know what is right for us and how to improve our lives but never do it because we tell our minds that it is impossible and not worth doing, do what you know . Without self-discipline, it can be difficult to live differently. Get a journal or a small book and write down your goals. For example, start with 11 things to achieve in 2011. Make a commitment to yourself, discipline your mind, and work toward your goals. You can set daily goals, weekly or monthly lifestyle improvement goals. Then you have to act on those goals and tick them off your list.
2. Always know your starting point.
We belittle our achievements simply because we never evaluate our starting point. To live an active and improving lifestyle, pay attention to your current state. For example if you want to get fitter and loose 2stones. It is wise to weigh yourself now and then you will know if you achieved your goal in 2 months. The same goes for all your goals, and by the end of the year you’ll be amazed at how far you’ve come.Any change is a radical step because you are telling the whole body that we are changing course and you must know how the change works
3. Boost your energy levels.
Feeling energized is key to happiness and self-esteem, so take steps to keep it going. Exercising, even a brisk walk for ten minutes will increase your energy and improve your mood, which can really work. Energy (or lack thereof) is contagious. If you feel and act energized, you help those around you feel energized, too. Also be mindful of what you read and watch, as this will energize you. You must take full responsibility for what goes into your body. Get enough sleep, listen to good music, and chat with friends, because all these things will change your life.
4. Pay attention to your entry points (ears and eyes).
Your body has two main entry points, which most of us have no control over. Your life will depend on what you hear, read and watch. Ignore all the crap on TV at least one night a week and search the internet for lifestyle questionnaires, join lifestyle blogs, and read healthy lifestyle tips. Look for lifestyle websites and look for products that will enhance your lifestyle.
5. Live a luxurious lifestyle in a simple way.
This is somewhat of a controversial point, but a lavish lifestyle doesn’t have to be lavish, I’ll explain. Did you know that rich people live a very cheap lifestyle? The rich man or woman will just own an expensive car that won’t break down for the next 6 years, the rich will take advantage of all the bulk buying deals to shop in bulk, they will pay for the gym and get all the best available Good exercise etc. Those who settle for a “mediocre” lifestyle buy a used car that gets serviced every two weeks and at the end of the year will cost more than an expensive car. We sometimes buy things every day but end up spending more, eat just about anything, and exercise little or not at all. You can choose to spend a little more now to live a life of luxury.well dressed and stylish
