A Top Kettlebell Routine For Fat Loss

There are many “golden” weight loss programs out there, but are overlooked by the plethora of cardio options. Sample programs can be found on YouTube, but are usually aimed at building muscle using kettlebells. I like to mix and match different areas of fitness to optimize for maximum fat loss, so kettlebells are a great tool for working out. There are no kettlebells specifically used here, but rather a very different profile than the normal kettlebell programs on the market.

Bodyweight Circuits and Kettlebells

You can get some pretty amazing results with bodyweight circuits, but the only downside is that they tend to neglect the pulling muscles of the back and biceps. There is also a downside to using only kettlebells. You can’t recover as quickly as you can with a bodyweight circuit. The faster recovery of weight cycles allows you to perform them more frequently for increased fat burning. We can mix them all together for an all-around full-body fat burner.

  1. Kettlebell Chest Squats – 20 reps

  2. Standard Pushups – 20 reps

  3. Kettlebell Swings – 20 reps

  4. Walking lunges – 20 reps each side

  5. One-Arm High Pulls (don’t lift the kettlebell overhead) – 10 reps per arm

  6. Climber – 20 reps

  7. One-Arm Kettlebell Swings – 10 reps each side

  8. Narrow Pushups (I like to elevate my feet) – 20 reps

  9. Kettlebell One Arm Row – 10 reps each side

  10. Stability Ball Leg Curls – 20 reps

Note: Complete the entire circuit, resting only for 1-2 minutes. Then complete the circuit 2 more times. If you’re feeling like a champion, you might want to do 15 minutes of HIIT on a treadmill or exercise bike. Whatever your preference, it’s a great way to naturally increase your HGH and boost your metabolism.
