Fruit and vegetable diets are gaining popularity as a way to lose weight fast!
After a particularly stressful winter, I’ve shed some unwanted, unsightly pounds that I hope will disappear soon.
Summer is here, and that means tighter clothes and shorts, and I don’t want to wear layers to hide my curls and bumps, if you know what I mean. Plus, my normally comfortable clothes just became less comfortable (read: tight in the middle!).
I’ve lost weight before and have kept it off for years, but due to emotional eating with chronic stress in my life, some of the weight has come back to my body and I’m miserable! I know the usual weight loss tips, plans and options, but I just can’t get enough.
I don’t want to see Lean Cuisine or Weight Watchers freezer diet meals anymore. I know deep down that those frozen mixes have preservatives in them and are often high in sodium and chemicals.
Also, having been a vegetarian for many years in the past, my gut tells me that I need to avoid eating factory farmed animals that have experienced inhumane treatment in slaughterhouses.
So it seems like a natural progression for me to look at a diet I’ve embraced in the past to see if it’s giving me the results I want. I want to lose weight fast, improve my energy and stamina, improve the appearance of my skin and my overall health.
I started a 14 day fruit and veg cleanse and I was blown away! The pounds were flying so fast it made me dizzy. I’m never hungry and I eat a lot of delicious and healthy food! You can imagine how excited I was when I got on the scale after 14 days and saw a huge drop in weight.
