Free radicals can lead to premature aging and health problems. From pollution, to fried foods, to microwaved foods, to radiation, smog, and more, free radicals are everywhere. Antioxidants in raw foods like fruits and vegetables help fight this damage and keep you looking younger.
Plus, raw vegan foods still contain their enzymes intact. Enzymes are needed for every metabolic purpose in your body. You need them for energy, and when you run out you die. The human body is born with a certain amount of enzymes and does not make more. When you cook food, you destroy 100% of the enzymes. So your body has to use its own reserves of enzymes to encode cooked foods and make them easy to digest. This means you have a shorter lifespan.
