How to Lose Weight Without Movement and Strenuous Exercise
Long before the treadmill was invented, the Chinese discovered a stationary exercise more than 2,700 years ago, which can help people lose weight and not only strengthen the body, but also strengthen the mind from the inside out. Imbued in this exercise is a philosophy perfected through thousands of years of cultural and spiritual evolution.
The Taoist sages discovered that the secret to good health does not lie in external sources or physical exertion, but in what arises from within while the body is at rest. Like a tree, in stillness, one’s body flourishes from the inside out, becoming strong and healthy, in harmony with nature, bringing the imbalance in the practitioner’s body back to a state of childlike serenity, agility, health and inner Calm is a natural phenomenon.
After years of extensive research, masters of all ages discovered that the body and mind are like a lake at midnight, reflecting the soft moonlight. When one’s body is not calm, the trembling lake distorts the image of the moon, but when one’s mind is still, the body and mind get the perfect reflection of the sky, still and powerful.
