As a pre-menopausal (or has menopause started?) woman, I’ve put on a lot of pounds over the past few years. Strangely enough I haven’t felt fat yet. For most of my life, I was an average weight and that’s how I feel today. When I see a fat woman, I think to myself, “Oh, she’s fat!” Then I realize that I’m overweight myself, and I probably look like her to others. I forgot. I still feel like I was the same medium-sized woman I used to be. This makes it more difficult to take practical steps to lose that extra fat. I don’t think it’s necessary, because I think this fat is only temporary and has nothing to do with me. I only get hit when I try to measure myself.
I know I have to eat less. I know I have to maintain a healthy diet. How on earth am I supposed to eat healthy with one kid who eats nothing but chips and pancakes and another who craves red meat every day?
I know I have to work out. I should be walking at least 10,000 steps a day. I should do more exercises to strengthen my abdominal muscles. How on earth do I fit these exercises into the schedule of a mother of 3 kids who work part time for half a day and drive my kids around in the afternoon (not to mention helping them with homework, preparing dinner, keeping the house moderately clean…) ?
The question of how to lose belly fat is really not an easy task for women, especially mothers.
One thing I’ve found to help is diet pills. Many people think diet pills are a scam, but that’s because they’ve been taught that diet pills are some magic pill that can change their life and get rid of belly fat without much effort on their part. Incorrect!
Weight loss pills should help you with your regular diet. They help you maintain a healthy diet by suppressing hunger. You can prepare lunch or dinner for your kids without “just tasting” anything or having leftovers. Eat when you’re hungry, and then you can keep eating whatever food you want. With weight loss pills, you still need to exercise. Despite taking the right diet pills, you’ll still have the energy you need to hit the gym or work out after an afternoon of driving with the kids or keeping them entertained at home.
